Nothing lasts forever. Even The Simpsons will have to call it quits one of these days. We can look forward to ASP's new show next fall. I think at this point we will be better off with an ASP show that isn't Gilmore Girls than with more of the Rosenthal version.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37916241.post-60899517731314382472007-05-03T17:05:00.000-06:002007-05-03T17:05:00.000-06:00Yaaaay!And I say this as a huge GG fan. I just think that this season has meandered so far off course that I don't know how it could have recovered (or at least recovered enough to justify another year).

I also think that seven years is frankly, plenty, no matter how great a show might be (and GG was truly great at its peak). Add to that that a series about a fortysomething mom and her 25-year old daughter just isn't as appealing (narratively) as one about a thirtysomething mom and her teen daughter.

So, raise a glass (or a mug of Luke's coffee, I guess) for Lorelai and Rory. Thank you for seven years (five of them great)!dkomparehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16401136573288833318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37916241.post-73661568107897751332007-05-03T14:46:00.000-06:002007-05-03T14:46:00.000-06:00I'll admit that I lost patuience for the show when...I'll admit that I lost patuience for the show when it migrated over to CW, but I'm still bummed about this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37916241.post-55623341847527527362007-05-03T14:40:00.000-06:002007-05-03T14:40:00.000-06:00nOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!I had a feeling it was coming, b...nOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I had a feeling it was coming, but but but ....I'm still sad.mdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16678218271885988491noreply@blogger.com
